When I was at the Race Rock Corvette show and EB Z06 had one of these red and Black shift boots. I have been looking at different vendors but have yet to find it, I was hoping one of you fellow owners might have an idea about who sells this modified shift boot. Your assistance is appreciated.
Re: Mod Red Shift Boot - Who sells them (PURE MC2)
They are made by wheelskins and they also make the two-tone steering wheel covers. you can order them through their websire ans Ecklers and Mid-America carry them, Bob
Re: Mod Red Shift Boot - Who sells them (PURE MC2)
I have had a Wheelskins shift boot and recently got one from Ken King at Vette Essentials. IMHO there is no comparison.
Ken's product is higher quality and if you are using the standard shifter, the boot is a little longer than Wheelskins to give you a better look by reaching all the way to the ****. If you have a shorter shifter, Vette Essentials offers a shorter version. The same leather is used that comes from the factory, so the color match is excellent.
Ken is an artist with Vette interiors and his dedication to Forum Members' satisfaction is superb. I also believe the prices are comparable. :chevy :flag
