Erik

I only have the part # for a 99-00 but I suspect its the same number
26058286 - Sensor Steering Wheel Position

I recommend you check the bottom line for the cost. With shipping and tax to Europe it pays to shop around.

Gene Culley has great prices and I've always found him to be efficient but his shipping prices to Europe are high because of the shipper he uses.

I've often used Bob at Fichtner Chevrolet and he's ever helpful, gets the parts off quickly and the shipping is reasonable.

You can check the part number with them. Both of the guys are Forum Vendors

As an aside I've been having intermittent snags with my AH and cruise control tripping out. It throws a C1287 code. It's been a lot better recently but I suspect I may have the same problem.

Thanks Dave,I've heard from Bob Wendorf at Fichtner's Chevrolet and will contact him.We are starting up a little bussiness in american cars(maintenance and parts)so we need to find someone who can ship parts quickly and reasonably cheap. We have many C5 owners here and sooner or later they all get electrical problems.I called for a price here in Holland...in $$ that is,hold on to your seat......here it comes:484$ That can't be right, can it?They say that a '97 and'98 uses the same SWPS and '99 and up another one.Checked your partnumber at GMparts direct and came up with 158$.
Thanks for the info sofar.

I think I'm setting up a business in parts myself with the number I've ordered for my sons Camaro recently Prices are high here in UK but the upside is the parts arrive quickly - if they're in stock.

$158 sounds alot better than $484. Bob runs good discounts and is great on the support side.

Best of luck with your venture.
