How do they get the air out of the matrix area at the top of the coupes rear window. Sorry that doesnt read very well. There are the little black painted dots on the inside of the rear glass, how do they get the tint to stick with out it looking like sh*t? (No hijack intended.)

It's all in the skill of the installer. A good friend of mine does tinting. He did my '04 Coupe, using a single piece for the rear window. His trick is to sand down the dots slightly before applying tint, and using a heat gun to shape the film on the outside of the glass before applying on the inside. 3 yrs on a perfect tint job with no bubbles and no lifting on the dots! He's THE MAN!

Mine is 15% in the rear and 35% on the sides. I really love the tinted windows, it really helps with the sun on long trips, and with the headlights shining in from behind!!! I like the darker look but I want to be able to see since the Z is my DD.
