I was doing some research on tail lights and it seems to me that there are multiple vendors out there that sell the L.E.D. tail lights.
Now i'm sure that you already knew that, but did you know that there is a heavy, HEAVY varying price range?
I know that I cannot post links to website that sell products, so i'll mask it somewhat:
kingsource sells these L.E.D. lights for - $248.98
adjureinc sells these L.E.D. lights for - $529.99
THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME LIGHTS!!!!
The moral of the story:
Whenever you go to purchase a mod, MAKE SURE you research the heck out of it. Furthermore, no matter what anyone says or claims ("Lowest Price Guarantee!", "Price Matched!" etc.), there will almost ALWAYS be someone more economical.
You are correct. I bought mine from a auction site for around 165-170 shipped. It was a few years ago and I was one of the first to install them, but I just can't believe all the lowest price "Guarantee's" out there. The wholesale mark up on these must be fantastic

Just a tip!
Kinda falls in the category of "common sense" but it is refreshing to hear every once in awhile. Thanks for posting
Yeah I shopped around to seeing how I have and am doing lots of mods myself, I bought mine last year for right around $200 off a member here on the forum
This is consistent with anything in the Automotive industry, not just after market mods. Whenever I am repairing my car, I call around to several different Auto Parts stores in my area and look on-line. The prices always vary drastically for the same part and brand. Not to even mention the price differences in the same part, but different brand.

Hey Bob, the Halo install is so simple, you'll be done in 20 minutes. You simply remove the old tail lights (two torx screws), remove the bulb from the socket and plug the socket into the Halo tail light. DONE.
Now you may experience the hyperflash issue but Richard provides a harness that totally eliminates the hyperflash problem. If you can follow directions, you can install the harness because Richard has instructions that show you how to do so. A beautiful mod to do. You'll find yourself showing them to everyone.
