Has anybody leather (or pleather) wrapped their own center console/radio bezel? There are a lot of aftermarket ones out there, but the price is for something that seems relatively simple.
I bought a bean bag for a$1 at a yard sale . the console has 2 part's: pur together with 4 screws remove screw's staple new pice at the one edge working your way down stapleing as u go. screw the 2 pices together your good to go

I just have no skills when it comes to doing stuff like that and sure wouldn't want a looking console in my car, which is probably how it would turn out if I tried it.
So I guess the answer is a "no" that somebody has done a DIY console...
Is everybody so used to the Vette tax that they just don't notice prices any more or what!? C5-Kidd looks like he does great work. I'm not questioning that. But for a console and radio bezel you are talking $700 If you think that's a great deal for a few square feet of leather you have more money than sense.

I think most of us here accepted a long time ago that we have no money (spent it on the Vette) and no sense (otherwise we'd not be here exercising this obsession)
