I didn't use a sawzall on mine but a flexable shaft I found at Home Depot for about 15 bucks. Was able to drill out the rivets in no time.
I also wanted to do the install sleeve but could not get it to fit right so I did the bracket fab to mount the unit. I did not use the bracket under the unit and its pretty sturdy....
XM antenna mounted on top of the cage with HD Velcro and GPS antenna mounted inside the rear up above the license plate.
There is a lot of good info here on General and Audio for this install. I know I did a 4 or 5 part thread series on my progress. Would I do it again, yes and I know I will when my wife gets her next C5. That too will have a double din....
