Help. Installing sidemarker BULB only. :)

As says in the title. I removed the outermost taillight and looked in, saw the connection to the sidemarker..but don't know how to remove the bulb. I just need to replace the bulb.

I want to be delicate....figured i'd run it past you guys first, you guys know better than I do.

You remove the lamp unit by rotating it counterclockwise in the housing. Once you pull it out of the housing you can get a the bulb. Its a 194

So I reach into the vette through the rear taillight, take hold of the housing that's going into the sidemarker, turn counterclockwise and pull?
