You will love it! Alot of people are starting to realize what they have been missing in a C5. Seeing as they are easier to attain now. Many people are test driving them and are like wtf, I didn't know it was the awesome!!
C5 is the best

I joined this board when I had my Lightning, thus the user name. I've since sold the "L" but have not YET aquired the Vette.
Tell ya what: As soon as the Vette is in my possesion I'll change the user name.

OR, should I change my User Name to "StockJeepLiberty" since that is the only vehicle I currently own? How about "LancasterLiberty", or .... never mind. I'm just holding my breath till the Vette is mine.

Welcome to the “brotherhood.” The thrill of owning a c5 is still as great for me today, as the day when I picked it up. Surely it will be the same for you, and you’ll come to realize that you’ll never spend another day without owning a Vette.
There is, however, a pitfall of which you must be aware. A c5 (or any Corvette) can become a “high maintenance” mistress. From the start I’ve lavished untold sums of money on mine, and I see no end in sight.

I cam over from the Ford side too. You will love the vette. It's a true feeling sports car. Ford simply doesn't have a car that feels this way and hasn't for a long time. Well the GT might compare now but at tripple the price of a new vette it's still not there.
