Am I crazy?
Getting some workdone on my car this week but we have snow on the ground
So, I'm getting a flatbed tow truck to pick up the car and drop off at the speed shop
If I wait until summer it takes 3 to 4 weeks just to get an appointment, now in the middle of winter, I'm in within days.
Am I losing it?

12 inches of snow here Monday. Haven't seen my 02 A4 in three weeks. No your not losing it.
But I will very soon. Purchased mine in Aug 07. This is the coldest and snowiest winter in years. Can't wait to bring her out of hibernation in late March early April.

Sounds like good use of "down time" to me. This is the time of the year
to be without your car, not in good weather when the shop is jammed.

The only slight issue I can think of is not being able to test it yourself when the work is finished. If you have to take it back in the spring, how long to wait then?
Good luck with your mods!

Good idea, If you have AAA they will tow it for nothing.

Sounds like a pretty resourceful way to get the car to the shop.
