The c6 shifter is far superior to the stocker, not sure what you mean by geometry but, the c6 shifter is an easy install as it simply bolts into place with no modifications. Don't waste $100. on the ball, when you can buy the entire shifter for less than $200.

Does the C6 **** spin on the C5 shifter or do you use that locking pin to stop it from moving?
