Right now I've got a stock exhaust set up on my Z with the exception of the BB Bullet system. I like the sound but its a bit to "motorboat-ish sounding" at idle if you know what I mean. I'm thinking of getting some LTs to (LG, etc) for the car. For those of you that have this setup, how does it sound?
I've got tpis lt's, highflow cats, x-pipe, and B&B bullets. One word sums it up LOUD. Love the sound definately much smoother sounding at idle eliminating the notorious motor boat sound.
I've had L.T.s no cats & ti exhaust for 5 yrs. I've got B.B.Bullets on the way & looking forward to putting them on. The Z needs to sound abit louder for this coming spring. I might put my hi flow cats on and then off to compare the difference in sound. From the different sound clips that I've heard w/ this set up sounds pretty good, both ways. Good luck! Bob.
I absolutely love it. LG Pro's with catted X Pipe and Bullet cat back exhaust.
Just put mine on about two weeks ago, wish I had done it sooner. This car is my DD so understand I was very concerned about the interior noise. The drone at 2,000 rpm has moved down in the range to below 1,500 rpm, which is out of the normal driving range. It is actually quieter in the normal driving range because the sound just seems cleaner.
Now, we you get hard on the wow pedal it really wakes the dead!!

I have a heads/cam Z06 and have had the Corsa Pace Car exhaust, B&B Bullets, stock titanium and now stock titanium with cutouts.
To me, the car was obnoxiously loud with the B&B Bullets. It gave me a headache after driving with it for 20 miles at a time. It vibrates the backs of the seat and makes the interior squeek and rattle under heavy acceleration. It was loud even when off the throttle and I could barely hear anything on my Blackberry.
The best sounding exhaust (to me) was the Corsa Pace Car. No drone, quiet when not on the throttle and sounded very aggressive.
Although the cutouts are louder and more aggressive than the B&Bs, it's not a constant loud. I can make a quick phone call and close the cutouts and actually hear the other person. The neighbors also hate me a little less now when I come home late at night.
Personally, I think that the bullets, lt's, and cats are the perfect combination. I tend to think that the "full" muffler sytems are kind of weak. If its still too weak for you, take of the cats and feel your fillings loosen up
I had the LG Pros, the X mid, no cats and the B&B Bullets. Was loud but a bit too much, couldn't get on it without attracting too much of the wrong attention. Put the LG Met Cats in there and it cut it down just enough to be perfect. Sounds great now and if I pedal it, its very quiet. Harleys and 4x4's drown me out unless I get on it, perfect way to hide. Loud when I make the choice. The Met Cats really put it at the pefect level for me. Of course sound is such a judgement call.
Thanks for the replies all. I'm thinking of going with either:
1) LG LT streets / stock mid pipe w/ cats / keeping the bullets
2) LG LT streets / off road pipe w/ out cats (not my DD so I wouldn't have to worry about emissions in PA) / keeping the bullets
I'm leaning towards # 2 though. Thanks for all the input!

I have LG LT Pros (w/ X Pipe), Cats (stock?), and B&B Bullets (single tip). I bought the car this way, but after driving it like this for ~6 months as a DD, I wouldn't change a thing, except a H/C, UD pulley, and ported intake (these will come over the summer).
