Default Hood Struts

Does anybody have the install instructions for the replacement of the hood struts. I just want to make sure that I do it right. I don't want to mess anything up. Just give me a link or PM it to me. I have tried searches on this and other web sites but I have found nothing on the install. Thanks for looking

Did you ever get a PM about this? Maybe over in CF Tech someone might have an answer. Good luck!

the struts are fairly easy there is a little metal ring at the base of each end of the strut, using a small screwdriver insert the end of it under the ring and lift it up the ring doesnt need to come completely off, then pull the strut off the pin it rests on, may want to have someone help hold the hood up so it doesnt want to close on you....

Easy job as mentioned above. Have some hood holding help (cut off broomstick works great also if you're alone!

That's the way it works. If you do one side at a time you don't need anyone to hold the hood up.

I purchased chrome ones at Carlisle and changed the hood and trunk in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn all by myself... One side at a time. Real easy to do.....
