Default Vredestein's

For the C5 Z06 is anyone running the following Vredestein combo?

275/40/17's in the front with 295/35/18's in the back?

I too run that combo - 2002 Z06. No problems with rubbing anywhere. I haven't had them on any track, but on the street they seem to hold most everything I've thrown at them unless it's real cold ( < 30 F). They even held WOT in 1st on a clean, fairly new section of asphalt - in the wet!
Someone reported that they were quiet, but I don't think so. Note that I have no experience with new GY SC's. The SC's I replaced were 5 years old.

I don't ahve any yet, but that is my tire of choice for the next go round. I plan on getting the 315's in the back thou. There is a meet up in Alpharetta at Bahama Breeze Feb 9th at noon, and hopefully there will be some of these tires there so I can get a better look at them.

Maybe I m a freak but for mountian diving I likes the Supercars...great at latera stability..they proly suck for drag racing which is where they get most of their hits..but for gettie up in teh mountians I liked them

I also like GY D3's..these are almost as good as the D3's....A good affordable tire thats really quiet..

If money is no option Id buy the supercars or D3's but at ~700 a set of four....I like these...I have two sets on ..so I guess i like them allot!

I'm running a set in that size as well. I've only been able to take to car out twice since I've put them on. So far they are great! Awesome traction under hard acceleration. I have yet to really push it too hard in corners, but the few I have done have been very stable and controlled.

I think 295 is as wide as they make them for 18" and 19" wheels

If you drop down to the 17" wheel they have a pair of 315's.

Could very well be right....I know their sizes are limited as diameter goes up

might stop by and let you check mine out. they are good tires, but after i put headers on(stock otherwise 01 Z) they wont grip worth a dang in acceleration. still a great daily tire, and a really really good rain tire.

edit: rated at a 280 treadwear too. should provide pretty good life.
