I have an electrical issue. My button lights on the left and right hand side of my instrument cluster remain (the HUD mode buttons on the right hand side and the button panels where reset and option button are on the left hand side) on all the time even without the ignition key. They are getting the juice from somewhere. They are draining my battery down. Any ideas on where I could start troubleshooting this issue.

I'd start with the headlight switch on the stalk. Just disconnect
it under the dash. If those dash lights go out, then the problem
is likely in the switch or its wiring. If they stay on, then it could
be a short in the dash, but that seems unlikely.
Check the rotary switch to the left of the steering wheel that controls the panel lights. It rotates to max and then when you go through the detent it turns the panel lights on. When you do that the lights stay on even though the 15 min timer operates.
Turn that rotary to the left and the lights should go out. That may be your problem
It seems this is happenening to more and more, I have no illumination on wiper or cruise levers and hud and dic panals stay lit all the time, and no the dimmer control is not on.

I just had a couple electrical issues resolved by replacing the 15 year old fuse box that developed a small crack causing a dead circuit even with good fuses. I predict this will be a common issue now that these cars are getting so old. A good ASE certified mechanic should be able to diagnose this for you easily....
