I've heard very good things about the Textralia OZ00, Cartek, and Spec 3+ clutches. I have the Tex Exoskel twin disk in my 600 bhp gto, but I wouldn't want it in a vette. Its really grippy, noisy, and hard to daily drive with a very stiff pedal feel. Its great at the drag strip though
I had a Centerforce Dual friction clutch in my 2003 Cobra that had nitrous on top of the blower. 600+ RWTQ @ 3000rpm in a 3800lb car, w/ drag radials. Hooked just fine. Absolutely stock pedal effort. Excelent feel. I liked that clutch so much I just bought one to put in my Z. My Z presently has a Spec Aluminum flywheel and Spec Stage 3+ clutch in it, not a big fan of either. I am dumping the aluminum flywheel for a steel one. Car is not a drag car, just a weekend toy and the aluminum flywheel is a PITA for stop and go driving, and I do not like the feel of the Spec clutch or its very high catch point.
Hey guys, I am putting back together my supercharged ls6, and am expecting around 600bhp. What clutch have you guys had the best luck with?
Dustin
AlwaysinBoost has been using a McLeod Twin with great results..and a lot more more RWHP than you are at. Hopefully he will see this and chime in. I am installing one in the next couple of weeks.

Very true, I went from a SPEC to the Ram and could not be happier. The Spec clutch just wore out to quickly.
Sig,
we need to get a "tried and true" list going of clutchs that are actually being drag raced and about how many runs they lasted (and of course the RWHP of the abuser). Alot of replies will be from normal driving and we can't judge those with the hard use clutches. I am on clutch 4 in 24months. This is getting old quick !!

We have tried every clutch under the sun, and have stuck with the Textralia's. I would recomend the OZ700 for most drivers at that power level, or the Exo Skel if you are a serious racer. They will both hold fine, but the Exo Skel shifts slightly better on high rpm power shifts etc.
I have the twin in my road race car, which is a huge cam NA motor and dont have any trouble with street use at all. The only complaint I could say is you here the disc's rattle when the clutch is pressed with a NA motor like that, but not with a FI cam.
We have plenty of OZ700's in stock and should have a restock of Twins shortly if any one is interested
