Default What Car Now

Well before I had the thread on whether i should take it to school or not (college) After much deliberation, the CORVETTE is gonna stay nice and safe at home while I drive a...Uh-oh....no other car.

So....

What car do u guys think I should get?

Has to

-Be cool
-Sporty
-Not Costly
-Economy Efficient (gas isn't much a problem though)

Just my $.02 but I have an Acura type-s RSX I drive in the winter/rain...its sporty, pretty quick (read:not fast), and comfortable. I also get average of 32 MPG.... Hopefully that helps a little

Take the Covette to school, and it will get beat up/keyed, stolen, etc.

Since I have owned a couple of C5's I have always had a second car as a daily driver. My first daily driver was a 00 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Good truck and fun to drive obviously not wonderful on fuel. My daily driver now is a 00 Accord Coupe V6. Does ok on fuel and I have done a few things to make it looks pretty nice. Here is a pic these can be had now for fairly cheap and there are still some very clean ones out there!

Tints, lowered, 17" Acura CL-S wheels, CL-S mufflers etc etc

An early gen C4 would be a great choice but, whatever you
decide you'll have peace-of-mind knowing your C5 is virtually
out of harm's way.

Good Luck

Don't know your budget, but take a look at a Honda S2000. Fun little car to drive and it's a vert which should be nice if you're going to school in Florida.

I agree with James. Get an Accord. They are cheap, reliable, good on gas, and plentiful.

Have to agree with the suggestion on getting a used Honda Accord. Reliable cars that get very good gas mileage.

had mine at college for my last yr and a half.... good choice to not bring it. I was always afraid of making enemies bc as soon as they found out about my car i would be screwed. Not to mention there were footprints on my hood one morning and a giant loogie another time...jelousy will make drunk kids turn into bigger aholes then they already are. if i were you, i would look at a 2 door accord as well, or get a cheap lease on a cobalt or somthing of that nature
