From: Alhambra Calismognazifornia, in the country everyone comes just to complain but won't go back home!
for proving, contrary to popular belief, yet again that these cars don't melt/disintegrate when exposed to the elements
mine wasn't supposed to be my DD, i have a 95 camaro for that. but about 2 weeks after i bought the vette, i just couldn't drive the camaro anymore. it's still parked in the garage and comes out maybe 1 week a year LOL
and also, the vette is much safer than the camaro in rain
I can't imagine the wide tires working hardly at all in snow, cars with narrow tires do much better as it pushes it out from under you. I don't even drive my Jetta in snow, that is were the Dodge 4x4 comes into play. Soon though I will probably sell the Jetta and daily drive the Vette, other than winter and weather extremes.
Shannon, I'll forgive you for this one since you got "caught" in the sudden snowstorm going thru... but damn dude... a Vette in snow is crazy man.. crazy!! Oh well... at least you're enjoying your baby... mine is slowly dying a slow garage queen death in this cold...
Ok, here's one for ya... April 19th, KC day to see "the boys".. is also the HUSKER Spring football game... but I'll skip it this year to make it down to KC... unless it's raining.. then I'd skip both!!
Lol... I'll be there.. I gotta be.
Quit driving that car!!! It's to be garaged and saved like gold, silver and cash!!
I wish I had my camera with me when I drove from Colorado to IL in mid DEC of 07!!! It was a serious snow/ice storm and I had to get home for leave!!! It was the crazy slow going!!! I had about 2 inches of ICE build up on the nose when I stopped for gas!!!
Needless to say I try no to do stuff like that but it had to be done!!
I think this is the 5th thread i read about someone driving their car in the snow, rain, or leaving in the snow. Spring is almost here guys, just hold out a little longer. Then we can all post up nice pretty pics of our cars and forget about arguing about who drives in the snow. I dont drive mine in the snow but it is just snow it will wash off.
Nothing is wrong with beating these cars like they like it. Drive the ****t out of them, rebuild them or junk them and buy a new one and start all over again. It will all end soon when the oil (not an eternal source of energy ) runs out so burn all that you can before the rest of the world does!!!!!!! Drive it damn it - its a freaking car not a god!!!!! Tear the damn thing up!!!!! Everything on this earth goes back to dust eventually so quit the god like worship of this man-made machine and beat it, beat it, beat it!!!!!!!!!! Stop me!!!!!!!!!!!
On the flip side these vettes are really nice cars and I love the way they look and I guess I should stop my Saturday ritual of bowing down to it before I gently caress the wheel and turn the magical key inciting the beast that requires petroleum sacrifice.
I am such a hypocrite; god when will it end!!!!!!!!!!
