I didn't buy mine for that.... that seems impracticle to me. But, I respect the opinion of others to spend their money as they see fit...

Exploreyou know shannon were right , back in the 70's i had a mach 1 and a dodge challenger t/a 340 w/3deuces and we drove those in the winter , so if you have a vette for a dd why not drive it you just can't do the things you can do in the 4x4 suv's and trucks but you can stilll drive them in snow and rain

As with any drvining, you need to adjust to the conditions and do your best to drive it as safe as possible.
These cars can drive in snow, they are quite capable. Not everyone has a garage/trailer queen!

That's why I have a 4x4 for the winter!
Did I miss the part where GM designed the Corvette to self-destruct in less than optimal weather conditions?

I would think that with a smaller foot print tire and the traction control they would do pretty good. My concern would not be the car but the other knot-heads rubber necking at you and then loosing control and running into you!

The trucks are the hardest to deal with in that kind of storm. they kick up some serious snow causeing white-out. They have a hard time seeing me in that silver car. But you just don't make any sudden moves and try to be seen! Originally Posted by Billysc5

Same here, I have a 12 year old ford truck for days like that. Less time cleaning the Vette and therefore more time to drive it on Good Days.Originally Posted by rspreng02_Z06

Daily driver here also. However, if it snows like that I will work from home. My tires are not made for that and I refuse to put chains on them
