Will Power
Took her out for a spin tonight and boy, did i have will power. First, a BMW Z4 reeved his engine and took off like a bandit. Me, eased off the line. On the freeway, a fellow C5Z followed me when an Infinity g35 s pulled up and then guuned over triple digit. Me and my fellow Z, just keptt on cruising at 65. Coming home, I see a pair HID's coming up real fast. Lo and behold, a WRX. He rode my bumper, pulled up next to me, reeved his engine, did that turbo woosh thing and tried everything to intimidate me. What did i do? I just eased off to the right lane and turned right off the highway. Did I have will power or was it my medicine from my root canal?

Your neighborhood looks familiar, I have a friend who lives behind the casino, I can't recall the name.

I had none...I had just picked her up and was driving her to her new home. I was attempting to pass some...black...honda?...thing... and as soon as I was along side guess what? yeh, it accelerated to match, wouldn't let me pass and I was runnin' out of room. I reacted and put my foot in it. In what seemed like 2 seconds and xxx mph later... the black whatever? a distant memory! The C5's response surprised me...never again. But man...was it cool!

Good job on the restraint. I must admit, even at 57, that I have at times buckled. :o Felt great at the time but, in retrospect, it was the wrong decision.

You did good, it's always nice to see them 3 miles up the road with LEO, ticket book in hand! You don't have anything to proove, you drive a Corvette and they wish they did...

thanks goodness for will power again last night. Freeways were swarming of LEO's due to Super Bowl weekend here in Vegas. Saw at least 5 cars pulled over on the freeway while cruising last night. Staying on the right lane, an under cover suv cop pulled up behind me (escort picked him up earlier
) . He paced me for a minute, but when an SUV on the left lane flew pass us, off he went. I really wanted to open her up when a 300Z was behind me, but will power won again.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday, A STI came uo behind me really fast and when he could he got next to me and kept looking at me and reving his squral cage, I gave him the thumbs up and as he was looking at me I turned my thumb down, He was pissed and took off as fast as he could, He was a young kid maybe 18-20 years old.

This place is filled wih them. I've been all over this country and have never seen more messed up people than in this town. Can't wait to get out of here. Hopefully in a couple weeks I'll be moving up north.
