Do 18 Wheelers Hate Vettes?
I don't have a CB so I can't absolutely prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that 18 Wheelers hate Vettes. But, every time I jump on the Express way and pass a few of them, it isn't long before I have a Black & White State Trooper sneaking up on me from the rear.
I have tested this hunch on several occasions by setting the cruise at a comfortable 78 or 79, (which is no where near a speeding ticket) and passing every 18 Wheeler I see. Then I will pull off the Interstate at an exit and watch for a few minutes. Without fail, a State Trooper will either be trolling up the Interstate going in my direction a mile or two behind, or trolling down the Interstate going the other direction way a mile or two ahead.
I think its coincidence, I have been in vehicles with CBs and most dont tattle...they are talking about more raunchy things than you could even imagine...even if you were in amsterdam

And how do you get off saying that a "comfortable" 78 or 79 is not a "speeding ticket"? It sure as hell is here in CA where the freeway limit is mostly 65!
14MPH over is guaranteed a speeding ticket.
And this is C5 related, how?
I am guessing the speed limits on the interstate he is on are 70, if he feels 78 is not a ticket

The mid-west allows 75mph highway speeds, too bad his profile is not filled out, that way we might have an idea where he's "running" his Vette. I enjoyed running some of those mid-west states on the way to Northern Cali, just that 5mph difference, makes a difference...

Has anyone else experienced this?
Are the LEO's being tailed by Black Heliocopters too? I drove my MY 2004 coupe from Seattle to Chicago and on to NYC and back running about 85 most of the time and never as much collected a glance from the LEO's.
The cops are "trolling" for trucks. There is so much more revenue in getting a big truck for speeding, tailgating, overweight, faulty equipment, log book violations, etc.
The truckers have no "pull" with the HP. They wouldn't want their attention even if they did.
Right now there are so many trucks on the road and there are so many huge safety issues that are killing the trucking industry financially.
Here in Cali, diesel is MORE expensive than my Vette fuel. I suppose the Owner-Operators might talk about fuel costs...
There are many factors in that equation.
Like the other post said, you don't even want to know or hear what the truckers are talking about, if anything. They are mostly monitoring their radios for cops and 'Lot-Lizards'.
The only time the truckers really talk amongst themselves is if they are on a desolate run and they are tired and bored. A majority of the drivers don't even get along that well. At least not here in Cali. Too much of a mix I suppose.
You almost sound paranoid...
I can't even imagine you pullin of the road and sitting and watching up-and-coming traffic...
well, at least your not typing like your from another country one minute...then not the next...and telling people you cant tell anything about yourself for security purposes...(6 6 6) in C6 gen
