Recently purchased a used 98 Torch Red C5 at Kelly Cadillac Saab in Lancaster PA. Previous owner from VA. I was told he traded on a newer C6. Love to know the history of the car. I love it! If you read this post and would like to contact me, I would appreciate any information you could provide!
Since Kelly is a GM dealer he can run a history of the vehicle on the GM system. He can provide a dealer invoice, service history at other GM dealers or the selling dealership, recall history, list of options to coincide with the option codes on the glove compartment door and obtain a window sticker. The window sticker will not show the original dealer, but will match the dealer invoice. The NCM can provide a duplicate window sticker and build sheet. I hope this helps you with the vehicle history search. I had a friend do this for me on my 2002 Vette last year. He is a sales manager at a Chevy dealership. Good luck.

The window sticker, if you have it, will show the dealer that originally ordered the car. If it is the dealership that sold the car to the first owner, try contacting them and see if they can help you out.
