Your not kidding Mudvayne387..right now mine is leaking oil and has a terrible rattle in the front driver side wheel well. Before that, I had a misfiring cylinder and it was caused by a little chip that controlled the coil packs..180 for that little thing..and before that, my syncros went out and had to get the entire tranny replaced, and even before that my clutch went out. So needless to say its been a money pit. I am looking to get away from a money pit car. They can be quick, I had mine chipped for a while, but its not worth the constant work. I am looking forward to joining the ranks of the vette owners.

I have come to notice that there is a lot of 01 z06's for 20-23k..I have seen dealers trying to sell c5's for that price at the same year. I dont understand why someone would get a c5 when you could get a z06 for the same price with a little searching. Is it just me or what?

Ok well not 20k..but 22k-26k...but still..only 2-3k more for a z06?

I would not want a ZO6. I much prefer my convertible and if that wasn't an option, I've had a coupe before I would definitely get another coupe. For the extra horsepower that you most likely will never use driving the vehicle on the public highways, I'd much prefer to enjoy top out or top down driving.

The windshield is thinner, everything about the Z was done to make it lighter. Thanks but not for me. Just my opinion as a buyer and owner.
