ipod/aux plug location
Does anyone know where the aux plug is located under the dash? I think it's located under the passenger side, down by the fuse panel. But before I start unplugging connectors, I want to be sure it's the correct plug. I bought an isimple, but my plug for the cd changer is broke, so I ordered a harness to plug into my radio. But it will not work my ipod. It shows the cd turning in the radio, but then shows error. So I want to try to unplug the cd changer harness, but don't know where to look. Any help would be appreciated .

The stock CD changer harness plugs directly into the back of the head unit if I'm not mistaken. The other end of that harness will be in the trunk.
BTW, what other AUX plug location are you talking about. I did a search and couldn't find anything and there's nothing in the manual either.

Before I return the isimple/ipod, I wanted to make sure the cd harness wasn't causing an issue. I know some vettes didn't come w/ a cd changer, so I was thinking that the cd harness was plugged into the radio harness at some location. The plug behind the radio is a dual plug, are you saying that the cd changer can be disconnected at the radio?

Most vettes the changer's harness connects in the passenger footwell. Some older models are behind the radio.
The GM10-AUX requires the COR-HAR (cd changer's harness) to hook up correctly.
Is that what you have? The GM10?
