The more Qs & As that you get the more you will need to categorize them so that it's not just a jumble of unrelated questions.

Examples -

Tuning Levels -
Easy Tuning. What's involved. Approx costs. Expected gains.
Mild Tuning. Ditto
Wild Tuning. Ditto

Categories -
Engine Qs.
Trans Qs.
General Qs.

Glossary of Terms -
(example)
Superchargers - what are they?

Home Tuning Mods
Basic stuff with basic tools and knowledge (Performance hood seal!! Performance tail light seals!)

Just some general ideas fer ya.

Chris,
Here are two more:

Does ECS install parts if they were purchased elsewhere?

I’m looking to replace the factory headlights with something that will provide greater night visibility. Does ECS do this?

And they will be posted in advance on our Promotions Page

http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.com/Promotions.html

We plan to categorize the FAQs when we have more of them online.

Most of the dynotuning info is already on the Dynotuning page and we are going to elaborate once the new dyno and software are fully implemented. Expected gains are a good suggestion we'll attempt to give a good overall answer to that as well.

Chris/Mike,

I think it would be a good idea to put together a list of recommended upgrades to a certain package. i.e. If I'm doing head and cam, and will occasionally drag race the car, what else do I need... DTE Brace, Aftermarket Clutch etc. If I road race....Tranny cooler, brake ducts, radiator etc. If doing a charger - boost & fuel guages...etc...

I see many people go and throw mods on a car, only to take it out and blow the tranny.... or go to the track and blow the rear. It could all be avoided by just taping your knowledge and experience about what will blow up at certain power levels.

When we went through all my mods the most important thing to me was the fact that (aside from running 10's) that the car stayed in one piece - all the time.

It does that amazingly well as represented by the numerous back to back to back passes at the drag strip and session after session on the road course. I can alway drive it home, or on a cruise, or to the track with little worry of breaking something - thanks to the supporting mods that we chose when I did my H/C package.

People get hung up on the fact that a SC kit may be 6K. Thats great. But, if you are going to take the car out and drive it like a mad man, you know at 500+ rwhp, stuff will eventually break - unless, of course you beef up those weak points ahead of time.

I think an easily referenced list of supporting mods - depending on driving style or hp limits would be beneficial to a lot of folks... It may have cost me more upfront, but I know for a fact it's saved me tons of time and money on the back end. If my car is on a trailer, it's most likely stolen!!!!

Great idea guys....

Here's a cleaner post after I removed all the "failure to move topic forward" posts.

Mike,

Thank you for your input.

We are indeed planning to put together some preliminary mod packages, Engine packages, and of course much more product. Little by little the site will become a great resource for all of your ECS needs.

We are preparing now to add a shopping cart which is a big undertaking but we plan to do it in phases, a few items at a time as we feel we have all of the details, shipping cost etc. needed to make an item ready for online purchase.

What are the benefits of the different intakes available. LSX versus FAST, etc.
If I change intakes, do I need to change throttle bodies.
What's a good H/C combo for daily driving, occasional strip runs.
What's needed to get a stock LS over the 400HP mark.
What needs to be beefed up to handle the extra horses, for an A4 & M6.

And, my personal fave.....Does the performance hood seal really get me 10 extra horses?
Great idea on the FAQ page!

Many of your suggested questions have been added. Some are still being reviewed and answered by Doug and Chris before placement online.

Please visit our site to check out what we have so far.

Not everyone is mechanical savvy....

What exactly is a street tune and why would I want it done?
Do I really need to change my gears? And which ones would you suggest for which conditions?
What is the difference between Twin Turbo and supercharger? And which do you recommend?

Keep up the good work guys
