Anyone from NC
whats the emission standards in this state? I was wanting to do some LG pros and no cats with a tune....later on down the road a good size cam/pully and maybe a 90 90

NC has OBDII emission counties
You will need cats. But LTs are not a problem
I run LTs High Flow cats, straight pipes and a mid size cam. I pass Wake counties OBDII emission inspection each year.

Some counties in NC are less strict, but in the populated counties you must pass an OBDII test where they plug in to your ALDL to make sure the system is working and you have no codes. It must also pass a visual inspection, which is where you will need the cats in place. I believe the visual inspection applies to all counties in NC.

I live in Greene and we do not have the OBD but most of the counties around us do. I think Wayne does.
