[Z06] Rear Window Defogger

Rear Window Defogger
A car wash person broke off the passenger side rear widow contact to the defogger element on the glass while wiping the interior rear window. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to re-attach / glue the contact back in place? Right now the wire coming out of the window trim is attached to the metal tab, the tab needs to be somehow attached back to the window.

I had this, both sides. The permatex is to glue a TAB back on that has come loose.
You need a new tab/with the metal contact to be attached to the defogger grid.
A GOOD glass shop can fix it, trouble is finding a good one. Just go thru the phone book & go to a few till you find the one that can do it.

I tried the conductive epoxy and could not get it to setup on the glass , it would setup on anything else. I took the car to a windshield shop and they fixed it in about 10 minutes for $40. Been working like a charm.

Thanks everybody for the information!!! This site rocks!!! I bought my Z06 from this site on 12/27/07. EB with 10,500 miles, because of work I have only put 135 miles on her. I will be cruising over to the Winter Nationals this weekend, should be awesome.
