Default Memory 1 light, always blinks ?

OK, try here, everytime I enter my Vette the memory 1 light blinks and also I notice a lil 'tic' sound from drivers mirror as if it is moving EVER so slightly when I get out of car and lock doors.

Do Ineed to re-program FOB or is the blinking normal ?

Thanks!

P.S. Wiper system is the best I have ever used in my life, they are designed to perform at very high speeds is the reason I quess.

check the back of your FOB it has a #1 on it ... use fob #2 and that light flashes.

CHeck out the Bosh Icon wiper blades next time you have to replace them.

Actually I have FOB 1 on me, why does it always blink, is this normal or am I suppose to go thru the whole re-program thing? I push the memory 1 button, which stops the blinking light, till next time, everytime.

Que Paso ?

Thanks

Right, that's why memory 1 blinks. He was saying if you used the other FOB that #2 would blink.

When first entering your vehicle, after pressing the
unlock button on your remote keyless entry transmitter
or a MEMORY button, a recall of your settings will
occur when the door is closed and the ignition key is
in the ignition switch. As the memory settings are
recalled, the light above the button will flash until the
correct settings are achieved, then glow for five seconds

when complete.

It's just the memory setting saying "Hello" and adjusting to your #1 preset.

Slightly old thread, but my light flashes continuously because there is a problem with the passenger side mirror. It's not reading it's position correctly so it always moves the mirror (glass) to the left. Since it can't tell where it is, it keeps on going, thus the constant flashing. The FEW times it works, the light only flashes while it's recalling the settings, then glows steady for a bit and then goes out.

You said the driver's side mirror clicks, so I'd assume that's the motor turning, but not actually moving the mirror, so it just keeps on going. If I press the left or right mirror select button it stops the blinking.

Constant flashing means it's still trying to get to the memory position, but can't.

Oddly, no codes are thrown by this from what I can tell. With all the other diagnostic codes I'm surprised there aren't some in there.
