Deflate tire
Break the bead
Remove nut from tire valve/TPMS
reach inside tire and pull out from wheel
NOTE ... I believe a C6 goes into a "reduced performance" mode if the TPMS are not working.

What if you want to go to a non-runflat tire, and just don't want the sensors?
Surely you can go racing without having to reprogram the car.
