Friend of mine has a MY '01 Z06. He has the Corvette lettering on his windshield in red. When he first got them and before we were putting them on, I though..no way! But, after he put them on (was easy to do) I think it looks GOOD!
I say, go for it. If you don't like the look you can always just take them off as your not paiting them on.
I know what you mean..When I first was asked if I wanted the full Pace Car graphics - including the windshield "Corvette", I hestitated but thought if I didn't like it - I could always take it off. I ultimately decided to go for it and am glad I did! You would be surprised at how many people do not seem to know what a "Corvette" is. It never fails that at every car show someone will ask what kind of car is this? I now simply point to the windshield - and assuming they can read - watch the look on their face when they discover that Made in America is still something they can take pride in... I have also gotten used to having it there so much that if it ever fades or falls-off, I will go and get another one put on in its place.

If you are a US citizen and you don't know what a Corvette is you have serious issues. I've seen kids 5 years old yell Look at the Corvette! Cool!

To each their own but to me the sticker is tacky!
I have to agree with Texan, sorry....been to too many car shows up in New England where I grew up and he is absolutely correct. I constantly got, what kinda car is this? or even better, what size motor is in it?
You would be surprised and I honestly think it is where your from. Since I moved to Tennessee and drive my vette around I don't get many looks at all, I just get people kinda looking like, yep just another car. Up north, I got plenty of nice comments and people admiring my car. Location, Location, Location I guess.
Well Boys and Girls the majority say ney, So I have decided to put it on, look at it, get some opinions and if I don't like it off it comes. Thanks for all the responses
It's just one more reason for some jealous punk hoodlum to run a key across your door. Asking should I do this already screams you're not sure what others will think. Well, look around the streets and see who puts their car's name on the windshield. Those are your club members. Race cars are exempt.....different club.
