GPS mount question
I just bought a Nuvi 760.
Does anyone have pictures of one mounted near the center vent?
I want it as high as possible but not on the windshield or dash.
I also have to mount a Delphi roady XT. It is small (size of a playing card) and I can put it anywhere.

I just finished making a rather complex bracket for my 7500 Garmin (7"display) that is just above the center vent, but I had to make it myself as no one offered one for this unit and I didn't want to start screwing mounts into the car (and I also wanted the ability to take it from car to car). There are brackets available that attach to the center vent. You'll have to search for them though. 'Bracket guys' or something come to mind. Hope this helped.

There's a generic mount for the C5 that clips onto the side of the bezel by the HVAC. You can then buy various add ons that take most devices. I got one for an Ipaq I wanted to fit.

Use the "donut"
Bestbuy sells a large donut shaped item that allows the GPS to sit inside of it. This is weighted and sits on the dash and picks up the signal well and keeps the GPS flexible to remove from the vette and use in another car of store when not in use!
