[Z06] 255 OR 275 up front?

255 OR 275 up front?

looking at gs-d3 tires....
they dont make the 265 stock size for the front.
what do i go for 255 or 275 up front?
NOT A FAN OF A TALLER front tire..

anyone with pictures please post..

Just put the GS D3's on my Z16 yesterday. Below is a pic of the sidewalls. Lots of pics comparing the F1 to the D3 with measurements in my post here.

Go with the 275s. That is what I am running on my FRC. Looks good, plus the extra tire helps with traction.

I don't like the look of a taller front sidewall either.

A 255/40/17 is only 25" tall. You will need to go with a different tire that is available in 265/40/17 & 295/35/18 sizes.

When I had the stock wheels on my ZO6, I replaced the Goodyear SC's with 265/40/17 & 295/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport's.
Way better traction than the SC's, plus the Michelin's have more tread depth.
