Would like to run 18"x10.5" (295x30x18)at the road race tracks (Hoosiers/sport cups) on all four corners so I can rotate and get the most out of the tires at DE events. I'd also like to run my 17's together (all 4 corners) for rain tires. Is anybody doing this? Suggestions on track day rain tires? Currently run Firehawks in the wet. Thanks,Greg.
I thought someone on hear said the front tires need to be an inch shorter the rear or would mess the active handling up. I want to run 18 all the way around too ten and half wide in front twelves in the back.

I think what it was that there c/n be MORE than 1" diffrence in the overall circumfrence.. people run 18 19 combos all day w/o problems teh diff is made up for in the tire sidewall height
Running 18's here to 18X10 fronts wrapped with 275x35's and 18 11.5 wrapped in 295x35's in back
here's a tire calculator to play with http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

From what ive read/heard is as follows--rear should be 1/2-1 in taller as to not mess up the TC/AH--I have also read that running the same diameter-height in front and back is ok with many having no problems--but never shorter in rear than front--
18"s all around Pilot Sport cups. 345's (L5 qtr pancels) in rears, 295's in front. CCW Corsairs.
i know its of topic, sorry. but this is the sickest c5 i have ever seen. your car is going to be my background pic for a long time. sorry for interupting, please proceed.
