Colored Rotor Hats?
Hey Guys,
I was one of the ones who did received the rotors and pads albeit after A LOAD off hassle but was thinking about painting my rotor hats. I have a 2004 CE LMB and was thinking of going with black hats but have toyed with the idea of blue and red? I've Photoshop'd some colors so please let me know your thoughts.
SeaLawyer, I hope you don't mind me using your pic???

I painted mine high temp (1200 degrees) rusteleum (sp?) silver/aluminum. Compliments Polished thin spoke wheels.
I think black would look good too, jmho.
BTW, I have Nassau Blue C5 and did duplicolor's Blue calipers. Not an exact match, but look good and have held up (4 coats).

First choice would be black, but the blue would be a close second.

Black first choice, but blue is a really close second.

If they're zinc dipped I'd leave them alone.

Are you going to do the calipers too?
I'd think they would ollk good matching the rotars.

Any would be a good choice. How much do you want them to be noticed?

Any color other than black or silver will detract from your wheels, IMHO.

For a blue Vette, I'd go with black.

I like blue and I really like the look of those rotors. I wonder how the zinc coating holds up against rust...anyone have these on long enough to know?

Don't go so crazy with blue just because that's the color of your car. It is possible to have too much of a good thing.
Black would go better than red. I'd go black hats and red calipar.

You raise a good point! Wonder how/if the paint would effect the zinc finish???
