Vanacor is where I purchased mine. When I called and talked to Diane I was told that I was buying the last one. Now it was a skin only. Give a call down and see if they still have any? I know her husband had an untimely death. Not real sure if they are making these again? The number was 985-758-7041... A few things to note, the hood adds alot of wieght. Also the back of the stinger needs to be filled in, as not to see a gap from when inside the car under the hood. Also last thing mine came through like crap workmanship wise, so plan on your body guy spending a ton of time to get it correct.

I haven't checked Vanacor yet, not sure I want to go through all that work, but I do think it looks great.
The RK hood is a thought .

I posted pic's when I installed mine. I think it is the best looking hood on a C5 and it makes the car. But there were mixed reviews. Some loved it like me, others not so much. It is correct came from Vanacor. ther shipped it to me they said it was the last one, it got broken in transit and they did nothing to help me. Good hood, bad company to deal with.

To each his own. I think it looks good on one body and not the other.
The fenders on the midyears come up higher (relative to the hood) and have more of a crease. The shape of the "stinger with scoop" go along with it much, much better than on the much smoother shape of the C5. On the C5, it looks "stuck-on."

I really like the stinger hood on the mid-years. The repop hood for the C5 doesn't look right. First of all, the stinger looks way too tall and the entire stinger seems to be out of proportion for the rest of the hood/car. IMHO

Cool! that is why they make chocolate and vanilla. I wouldn't have this car without this hood, I like it that much. I guess maybe instead of Vanilla or Chocolate, I have brussel sprouts, but I like it!

I must have really bad taste for most on this board. Everytime I do something to my car or ask for input, I always seem to get way more negative responses then positive and this occurs even when not seeking an opinion.
Sort of reminds me when I first joined and posted pics of the air brush work I had done.
I like the stinger look and the RK hood looks good on BearsFan Vette. The black makes it.
