Need to touch up a few chips on the new car. Can someone tell me where to find the paint code? The car is the lighter silver color. Thanks for the help.

What year is your vette? There were several silvers used on C5's.

http://www.paintscratch.com/ - best website for paint.

Enter your year, and model. And it will walk you through the rest.

Later,

The paint code should be on the RPO list in the glove box

Or under the drivers side rear cargo compartment cover. Depends on what year your vette is.

I have an 04 as well, I just drove it to the dealer and he looked it up and ordered me some GM touch up paint. The color on my 04 was Lt Tarnished Silver.

Default found codes

My 98 C5 Convertible paint codes (white) was found under the left copartment LID in the trunk. Found : "10U" and "BC/CC U9567 - paint shop said its Arctic White.
Maybe this will help someone.
Can the car mfgrs just put the codes on maybe the firewall , or door pillar, or someplace easy to find? I mean - the lid in the trunk! Its not going to last forever! It looks like cardboard/fiberboard all warped from moisture...
