That sucks. That is why I moved to Vegas from Chicago.

Unfortunately I believe a newly restored 63 worth $80,000.00 was crushed inside

Damn, that makes me want to put at least 100,000 miles on my ride this summer. I'd hate to loose them all in a freakin' garage that way.

An update on this story:

One of my slotcar racing friends works for a major insurer here in NH and had this infor. Unfortunately the owner of the business was uninsured(I find this rediculous in this day and age but to each his own). The '64 that was nearly fully restored, sustained about $20,000 worth of damage but can be repaired as can most of the other cars because their owners had insurance. I am assuming the business owner will be on the hook by those insurance companies that will be paying out a lot of claims.

I bailed out of Massachusetts for Tampa Bay because of the lousy weather. It was constant $h!tty weather from October to May.
New England has the Four Seasons - Almost Winter, Winter, Mud and July.

I don't miss it and have no plans of ever returning.
