If this is mainly a street driven car you will probably be more happy with Kooks.

American Racing Longtubes
If I had to do it over again, AR would be my selection.

Currently I have LG Long Tube Pro on on my 03 Z06.
The headers fit well, but you have be patient when installing.

The slip joints did not fit well, but I have my own exhaust tubing bender and expanded the collectors to fit the tubing to make a good seal. No issues with leaks.

I am running the stock catback Titanium mufflers and love the sound.

I have Kook's, but quite frankly I don't think it makes any diff.
Just price shop for one of the two or AR.

Gotta say my LG's went on great, everything went well even after ceramic coating everything.

I love the sound of ZOSixins car but if you do not want it to be loud then headers and no cats is a mistake. Hi-flow cats will make it somewhat quieter and will not hurt the power very much.

Funny you say this. I've been counceled by mine that the Kooks may loose a bit on the top end, but for street driving a better choice, if your going to do lots of racing (high RPM, WOT stuff) then the LG's would be the way to go for a few more ponies up top.

Perhaps this is more accurate....

I have the LG Pros, but hear good things about Kooks. Right at 30hp gain with Blackwing and dyno-tune, which is less than they advertise, but still pretty substantial and very noticeable gain. I am very happy with mine and $ well spent. Too me it's the most mod for the money. I have the hi-flo cats and Ti exhaust. The sound is perfect. Quiet at idle and cruise, but it screams at WOT. No one will confuse you for a Mustang, but they'll definitely know you're there.

Kooks, LG, & AR are all amazing headers. I wen't with Kooks on my C5Z & I couldn't be happier I'm going to switch it up for my C6 this time & go with LG Pro's. There more expensive than the Kooks but, I still wan't to try them out. From what I hear... Kooks gives more HP & LG has more torque. I don't know where AR stands in this. If you put all three on a dyno I'm sure they would be within +/- 5 HP/TQ throughout the rpm range. (Give or take).
You will have nice gains with any of them.

Just a Vara-ram, Borla cat back, and tune. (also have SVO 30 injectors but those won't come into play until heads/cam)
