I've ordered several things from them without problems. Only had one customer service experience that was handled appropriately. I had order a jacket and they sent me exactly what I had ordered, however I just didn't like the fit and ordered another style. They sent me the new jacket and I sent the other one back.

I will agree that their shipping is a little high.

I've dealt with Eckler's and had good luck. There are so many places to get your parts. If you've had bad luck with them, try elsewhere. I'm sure you'll find one that works for you.

I've always had good customer service from them, but I haven't ordered anything from there for a long time. Hopefully if I order again I will get the same level of service as in the past.

I wanted to buy just a set of rear letters for the Rear facia of a C6.

$14 was the cheapest shiiping option.

That would come in about a 6x9 envelope, smaller than their catalog.

I did not buy it from them when I saw the shipping expense.

Maybe thats my problem.

I've had parts from many of the Forum Vendors. I've had great service from PFYC, A&A Corvettes, Crazy Cowboy, Redline Goods, C5 Kidd, Corvettes of Houston, Fichtner Chevrolet, Gene Culley, Elite Engineering, Kewl Auto to name but a few. I guess you could say I've fitted a few mods

I guess when you get the run around, it just stands out from the normally great service.

There are many places to purchase parts at comparable prices. Any business can do that. What many businesses don't provide is quality customer service, which is what I base my purchases on. There are a number of vendors on this forum that provide outstanding customer service and they'll always get my business. I think some businesses are just in it for the money, but the truly successful ones share the same passion and love for Corvettes that we do.

yes I had my share of troubles with Ecklers too
I returned one item and did just what they requested
used Fedex and had a tracking number
still took over one month and three phone calls to get my refund

Well it's not getting better

The customer service just blows me away

Happy to hear from the Vendor if there's a reason for such indifference. This is the longest anything has ever taken to ship and I use USPS all the time. The delay I can live with. The poor customer service is unusual for a US vendor. I can't say how much of a contrast this is with the great service I've had from C5 Kidd. I guess when a dealer gets so big that customers are not important thats when its time to look around.

Oh well. thats the last order from me.
