Default Tire/Handling question...

I just put Firestone Firehawks on the rear and still have the F1 Supercar tires on the front (the Goodyears have plenty to tread left). Should my car handle differently as a result of having unmatched tires from front to back? I swear it feels different. It feels like I'm getting a little over steer in the turns. I would understand that if I switched the front tires to a softer compound tire but that's not the case.

I wouldn't think that the difference is worth worrying about, although personally, I try to stick with the same tires, front and rear. I'll be on my second set of GSD3s, soon and I couldn't be happier.

If you track your car, and if they catch you different tires front and rear area no no. On the street ... who knows. It will handle differently however.
