As soon as my knee is fully healed from a recent replacement I'll have my VaraRam in too. From my research, it appears to be the best "bang-4-the-buck". Can you enlighten me on performance/mileage improvement?
I had the Vararam installed and also got dyno-tuned on the same day. WOW...what a difference. Great SOTP acceleration and much more pull! I heard there is a factory setting for torque management that limits the amount of torque in order to control the strain on the drive train. GM does this to protect the drive train since it is an expensive warranty item. The torque management crap was removed as part of my tune!
Only performance mods I've done are the Vararam, Corsa exhaust and Dyno tune. I'm getting 321hp to the rear wheels. Not bad for an almost stock C5!
that girl again, seat of the pants talk/much more pull, your killin me!
I`m thinkin dump the dual cone set up for a Vararam too. Is it CARB legal in California? I also wish some guys would talk about performance gains. Is the VR quality a problem with C5`s, did they improve on seals, fit and function for the C5 or is it still orginal design ? How much for a new one, etc ?
