I have a 04 coupe and was wondering if you could put OEM c6 wheels on it. I know the bolt configeration is the same but what i was wondering about was the tire presure sensors would they work right and is the off set correct? Or are like the new Zo6 wheels being 12 inches wide to wide for it? Thanks a million for the help everyone Im brand new to the forums.[
Zo6 wheels do have different offsets than the stock wheels , thats why there are so many after market wheels made with offset that will work with no modifications needed and in the Z06 style.
yeah man is that your red c5 in the picture i think that would look great with some c6 wheels on it
oh well that makes since, did you buy your wheels off here? By the way I was also wondering mabye you know can you use c5 zo6 brake calipers on a regular c5 like the red ones?
I was told by tirerack and my dealership (Who Specialize in Corvette Racing) that the OEM C6 Wheels WILL NOT work on C5's so I went out and bought some Chrome C5 Z06 wheels so Im very happy now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
unionlandlord your wheels look bad *** I would love those on my car I have a black 04 and thats exactly what im trying to do did you have those painted? How hard is it to do the spacing for the proper look?

Spacers fit over your studs. Very easy take the wheel off and add in the spacer. Edit im geting 5/16" spacers. Im puting them on tonight. ll let you know if you need longer studs. Longer studs is not "easy" to do but not to bad.
Thanks!!!
The wheels are C6 repo motorsports. Corvettes of Houston sells them.
Just as you see them.
$680 shipped. Look around you may finde a better deal.

The wheels sticking in look a little funny. Some may even like it. I did not drive the Vette much but it did not rub w/ no spacers. Some say thares does.
Ill let you know how it goes tonight when I add the spacers.
I looked at 3whits post he used a 1" spacer wich look real good but the tires stick out a bit. 1" spacers are a different than the smaller ones. Thay bolt on. Longer Studs are not needed. I wish I could get a bolt on spacer, say 3/4" or so.
I'm using a 1/4in spacer and they are still tucked in just a hair but I think they look great. Any thicker than a 1/4in and there's not much meat on the lugs. A 3/4in adapter/spacer would probably be perfect but I've never seen them. You could get the 1in spacer milled down to 3/4in I suppose.
(I've lowered the front & back since I took this photo and it's looks a lot better)

Hey Paul, we just got C6 Cray Scorpion wheels for Lori's vette and when I put the rear tire on I knew I was in trouble. I have 1/4 inch spacers coming in to correct the problem....

My 5/16" spacers did the trick. I can tell right away, it looks right.
