Default Flush mounted my taillights.

As most know, GM forgot to add some weatherstripping around our taillights and everytime we wash and dry our cars you get all that collected water running down your bumper for many hours afterwards. So I was going to order the weatherstripping but decided on getting the flush mounted kit along with it.

Found a guy on ebay selling everything for about $20 shipped.

I really like the new look, at first I thought its a little cheesy but instead it looks more exotic.

I did mine. The more you look at it, the more yo will like it. The seals are a good idea, plus, dirt dosn't collect as bad around the lights. Looks good

I know what you mean. I had a white C5 'vert a couple years ago and I purchased the euro's with the flush kit but as soon as I put the kit on I didnt like it so I sold it.

But lately I've been liking the look from the pictures I've been seeing so I figured I'd give it one more shot. This time for some reason it looks better to me. If I begin not to like it its a quick 15 minute back to stock.

Yep!!! only way to go!! looks very nice. Not to worry, one more month!! April is usually our relief month, and we can take them out regularly without fear of snow.

I have been thinking about this too. I am a cheapo though and want to do my own version of the spacers. Can you post pics of the spacers being used and does the kit come with new screws also? If so, how long would the new screws be?
Thanks for any help on this one.

I prefer the stock appearance, but am sick and tired of the dirt and water. Will be changing mine soon.

SOrry I cant, theyre already on and I dont feel like pulling them off for a picture.

The 2 very outside spacers we're around 3/4" long and the other 6 spacers were about 1". The screws were around 2 1/2" long.

I did some math and it would probably cost you close to $10 in materials for the flush kit and weatherstripping. Then you need to measure everything and cut it and hope you cut correct lengths so that you dont mess up and have to buy more materials.

Either way, not worth the hassle in my book. I paid $20 shipped for everything, didnt have to spend my time making it nor waste a drive to the hardware store and spend gas money.

after seeing this done on my buddies car I didn't care for it. I love the looks of the LED tail lights though.

Then again to each his own.

Looks good Pete. I have gone over with the same conversation in my head as well for the past 2 years or do i like or dont like it. I am still on the fence. For some reason, some turn out really good and some dont. I dont know if its because some stick out further than others? either way, yours turned out nice.

FWIW, looks too bug-eyed to me...I like the recessed look like the factory stylists worked into the original clay forms. :-)

Which seller was it? there are 3 different ones. want to be sure I get good ones. I got some of those crummy Z06 screens (I have a regular coupe :o ) and one of them fell out, so i don't want to get the bad-quality kit of this too.
