As long as there is no cross posting inciting a meaningless argument, I don't think they'll see a problem?

SRT-8 is no joke... but it's also heavy as hell and as aerodynamic as a brick.

SRT8 with a good driver would edge out over a vette with a poor one.

Weight will be an issue for him!

The SRT8 is heavy but fast for a large sedan

The Vette is right on the money with the RWHP numbers! It's unfortunate that some don't believe that the numbers are correct!

My A4 '98 with just bolt ons was at 323 RWHP, the Vette's are what they are and will always be competition for someone else!

I just did some snooping around on an SRT-8 forum and bone stock most of them are running low 14 second and upper 13 second 1/4 mile times. As previously mentioned, they weigh just a tad over 4,100 lbs. and aren't very aerodynamic. I'm thinking it would be a better match for my TrailBlazer SS.

Sure are a lot of differing opinions over there on the outcome. The 300 SRT is quick and it very well could come down to who is the better driver.

I saw one run at the local track last fall, he said he had air intake and a tune. He was turning 13 teens at 108 mph or so. Not to bad for a vehicle of that weight.
