Default Newbie question

Hi. Newbie here. I was looking at the Chevy sites and find that the Z06's are listed as either "2 dr cpe Z06" or just "Z06." Inventories are split. Is there 2 styles of C6 Z06?

Nope, all Z06's have the same bodystyle (within their generation). However, the C5 Z06 is an FRC type with a rear truck lid, whereas the C6 Z06 has a hatchback rear-glass (and is more aerodynamic).

C5 Z06:

Nothing against those that own the other style top, but if I wanted that much glass I would have bought an AMC Pacer...

Default Lots of differences...............

When you say Z06 , you are covering two (2) body model generations . The C5 Z06 (2001-2004) which is based on the FRC ( fixed roof coupe, or hard top). The C6 Z06 (2006-?) which is a coupe w/ rear hatch (and flaired fenders, fixed headlites, open front grill, ect). These are two very different body styles.

Ya, I know I was there when they introduced the car , just didn't think to include it with the C5-C6 models.
