Heck, if you really want to do something stupid why not trade your 03 Z even for my 98 coupe! Looks like you don't drive it much anyway so you may never notice the difference!

From your description, this must be the Lemans Blue 2006 leftover at EVS (Corvette Conti). I wonder why this car has not sold?? -- perhaps potential buyers thought the red seat bolsters looked odd with the blue exterior color.

Let us know what kind of deal they offer you. I'm guessing $34-36,000 to trade. That's still a big pile o' dough.

PS -- They also have a new black 2007 for sale for just a little more money.

Good luck!

Keep the 02 and install a supercharger. Better looking car IMO.

Default Trading??

Trading-in your car would be stupid. Sell it out-right and buy a brand new Z with GM no interest plan!

Rather than spending 64K on an 06, I'd suggest buying a new 08 Z with the factory warranty. I think some good deals will be available, what with economic slow down and the upcoming introduction of the ZR1 Super Car.

Thanks guys for all the responses. Just gonna keep my Z for now. The dealers were offering such stupid trade offers I wont even put down. You would think some of these idiot dealers would want to keep the economy going. Man there is a lot of newand used Z06's sitting on lots for sale.
Thanks again guys.

What would you guys suggest?
financing suggestions also?
Thanks for reading,I'm getting spring fever. It's been a real long winter in chicago.

Buy the C6 and keep the C5. I like them both. Of course you might get an 08 for $64k. Refi the house (rates could go lower), take the money out and buy the C6.

Get a c6z as new as you can get. The c5z is great but it doesn't compete with a c6z. Hands down get the C6z any way you can.

If you don't have 100k sitting around for a car, don't even think about the Zr1. I doubt you will find on at MSRP

If your not going to drive it you should consider leasing one. Given the way you are trading off cars it would be more economical in your case.

If you want a little more power or to add something to your current ride why don't you look into modding your car.

You could bolt on a supercharger and do a few other things and have a car that is more capable than a new Z06.

Just some thoughts.
And you'll come out much better dollar wise on the deal.

I think outstanding deal.I know I dont drive that much but I gotta tell you this thing is amazing.Plan on doing a whole lot of that this summer. Thanks guys for some good ball breaking, I love it. Get it everyday from my wonderful wife. Maybe thats why i'm always cleaning my car"
And there is such a difference in cars. But I wont even get started on that.

I've driven the C6 Z06-nice car. I've seen some pretty good discount's on the new Z's. At that price-a new one's a much better bet.
