How stupid would this be.
I'm thinking about trading my mint 02Z with 5800 miles on it for a new Z.I do some stupid **** about every three years and it always involves a corvette.
Right now I'm looking at a 06 with 6 miles on it for 64k or should I do something newer for warranty and whatever else.
What would you guys suggest?
financing suggestions also?
Thanks for reading,I'm getting spring fever. It's been a real long winter in chicago.

If you want to indulge yourself with some more thrill, I understand. But don't trade in your '02Z at the dealer... they will give you next to nothing (aka "whole sale"). You should be able to command top dollar for Z with the credentials you described in a private sale.

Given how little you drive the current vette does it really make $en$e to go into debt for a car that will probably be driven very little?
If you want a little more power or to add something to your current ride why don't you look into modding your car.
You could bolt on a supercharger and do a few other things and have a car that is more capable than a new Z06.
Just some thoughts.

It is stupid to buy a nice car and not drive it.
For the money why not just rent exotics for the time you do drive.

I bet you could find a 08' Z06 for 66-68k brand spanking new. 64k for a 06'Z is kinda high considering the market right now.

I have an idea for you --
You can keep your low mileage Vette and get a new Vette at the same time for a whole lot less money!! Get in your Z and drive one state east and let
Lingenfelter re-invent your Vette for you! When they are finished, You Will Have One BAD A$$ C5!! Not many cars including most C6's will be able to look, sound and perform as good as your C5. C5's just look better anyway!!

If you've been doing stupid **** every three years for 48 years and it hasn't ruined you yet. Why change now?
