Corsa pace car questions
Corsa pace car mufflers...
Stock LS1 6speed. Have Corsa titanium currently, and after hacking at them for a year and being unable to fix the resonance, I'm giving up.
I'll be using a bassani X pipe.
My major migraine trigger just happens to be that kind of noise.
I still want the car to be reasonably noisy when I get on it - but ONLY engine noise.
If there's even the *slightest* hum, the system is no good to me. Example, you shift from 1st to 4th at 18 mph, and the car drops to 1100 rpm (or in that neighborhood.) You hit the gas... Is the car SILENT? or does it go HuuuUUUUUUUMMMMM....?
Or you're in 6th at 60mph and you give it a little gas to maintain. Silence or Bwwwmmmmmmm?

I have the Pace car's with headers,no cats,X-pipe and there
is no drone,resonance,or Bwwwwppp!!!! When I'm cruising
at 60 mph in 6th and give it gas.
You'll definitely want to stay away from B+B exhausts,resonance

Your car in that situation would NOT be silent, it would probably say something like "You went to the wrong gear, please learn to drive me like a Corvette should be drivin' "

Being that you are extremely particular in the 'type of sound', you better hear the Corsa's in person. I'm sure you'll find someone close by with the Corsa set up you are thinking about. Check local vette clubs or just ask here on the forum.
PS: I have an '01, manual 6 speed, vert, with Corsa Pace exhaust. No drone. Loud when you stomp on it. But again, hear it for yourself. You will do yourself a grave injustice if you purchase based on other people's opinions.

I also have Corsa Pace Cars with LT's, and X-pipe and cats....no drone ever. At 25mph - I'm in 2nd, maybe 3rd.
I typically shift at about 3K - trust me, the CAGS never comes into play. Why would you want to be in 4th at 25mph?
