I may be able to help you out with the handle. I have made a few of these over the last few years. I can add what ever engraving you would want to it, or you could get it plain. $180.00 plus shipping

I found that near impossible. I ended up drilling and tapping the handle of my choice. I also found that none of the universal fit ones had an option for the 9/16x18.

What about an old HURST T handle .I don't know what the thread size is,but if it's wrong it could be filled re drilled and tapped.

Here is a Hurst on a A4. I had to drill and tap and make a new jam nut.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hurst...em360032397254 forum member Chris Rinehart zrchris ( has this auction on fleabay), He does good work ( I'm a retired machinist myself), as I have bought three shifterknobs from him, one being a new classic Hurst T handle for my '01 Z06. Chris drills and adds a 9/16-18 steel tapcert for added strengh and reduced possiblity of galling ( dissimilar metals) on the aluminum T handles. Chris also has a custom T handle . All his products are very reasonably priced. Check out this forum add and the prices , can't beat them. Good communicator and delivery. ( gee , I kinda sound like TV's Billy Mays OxyClean hocker, LOL)

I have the Hurst T handle on the C6 ZO6 shifter assy I swapped in ( I threaded the C6 shifter arm ). The wife could not decide which color 2" shift ball she wanted , Black w/ white etched shift pattern or the White w/black pattern so she got both, since they were inexpensive to buy.

Yes, thanks DieselDave, I have two kinds of T-handles for sale, for DIRT CHEAP:

The first I had custom made from aluminum and anodized black. I have a few to sell, $25 shipped.

I also sell brand new rethreaded Hurst T-handles for $30 shipped.

And I have Hurst engraved classic ***** in black or white for C4 and C5/C6 for $30 shipped.

Jam nuts are included with all of them, these are direct thread 9/16"-18, no set screws.

Please EMAIL me in leiu of PM, I don't visit the site much.
