Default Is my car possessed?

WTF man?

I'm sitting here in my quiet garage surfin the forum on my laptop and the damn horn on the Z goes off. It scared the hell out of me. The alarm didn't go off - it was a quick 1 beep like when you close the door and hit the lock button to set the alarm.

The first time this happened (about 2 weeks ago), I thought it was kinda funny because I was wrenching on the C3 and had parts from it laying everywhere. It was almost like the C5 was looking out for the C3.

Anyway - this ever happen to you guys?

I've had that happen, too. And one time the alarm went off.
I think it's just sensitive buttons on the remote fob and when you shift in your seat or put your hand in your lap, you inadvertantly hit one of the buttons.
Once I was changing my pants in the house and when I dropped them the car beeped.

It's the remote for 97-99 and I think 2k vettes. It has an on/off switch that enables you to turn lock/unlock the car without having to press the buttons, and it is activated depending as to how far away you are from the car.

Your car is begging you to take it for a spin. It's just like little sad puppies when they want to go out and play they chirp.
