I usually use Adam's detail spray on the wet car as I am drying it after washing. It seems to make drying the car easier, and seems leave a little extra protection on the surface between washes, reducing the need to re-wax as often.

Actually all true quality Liquid Carnauba based products have a base of no more than 13-15% Carnauba. (Paste waxes can contain up to 80% Carnuaba Wax, which some of Adams products do, and I can tell you from experience, they are a PITA to use and the results are not that impressive) Any higher percentage than 13-14% and you would not have liquid. The rest of the ingredients in the bottle of wax are fillers and chemicals to aid in the spread and removal of the wax. Heat is the greatest enemy of wax. Heat will evaporate wax faster than any other factor.
Use it but be prepared to apply it time and time again to gain protection and longevity
I use Malms liquid canauba and it will bead water for months after one application.
I re-apply after the water beads get larger - I can tell by the size of the water beads when the car needs waxed - the larger the beads, the more in need of a re-coat the car is.
I keep my vettes in a garage, and the Malm's will easily last 6 months.
I love Adam's products, but I stick with the Malm's wax.
